Check Engine Code......
Got the B16a running in the 92 hatch, throwing a #8 check engine code, wondering what causes for this TDC position to throw the code? Engine sounds great at idle, but when reved, it falls on its face, exhaust smells very very rich, which should be with the stock cx's injectors still in this engine. Chipped P28 ecu in the car now, any help is appreciated, also, where can i get a print off of the engine codes and possible causes??

Here's your engine codes:

As to the TDC sensor, its in the distributor, and the engine does not know when the #1 piston is at top dead center, and is having difficulty firing the injectors at the correct time.
There is no fix for the problem if the sensor is really defective. You will need to replace the distributor. It could also be the wiring from the ECU to the sensor.
