CEL, code 43, What To Do?
I've been getting an occasional code 43 since day one of my B18b install. I just replaced the B18 with a B20 and now it's worse. The CEL comes on and it runs crappy. Mash in clutch and turn off engine then back on and CEL is gone and running fine. It didn't bother me before but now it's aggravating! Code 43 is "Fuel Supply" or something similar. I've searched this and other forums without a definitative answer. My setup is: 90 Hf with 97 B20b4 running OBD0 with a 90 pr4, new 90 teg dizzy, OBD0 injectors. DC Sports 4-2-1 one piece header with the O2 in a bung where 1 & 4 join. Greddy MX exhaust, no cat. I've substituted ECU's with another pr4. same results. Fuel filter is new, O2 is new, Dizzy is new. Anyone had experience with this?
TIA

Same **** is happening to me. Only mine runs like **** all the time. I get the same intermittent code 43.
Mine is an OBD2 LS in a 92 VX hatch, running an OBD1 P75 LS ECU. Ive swapped fuel pumps, no help. I swapped to a GSR FPR which made it run a little better (Im assuming from the higher fuel pressure) but still not like it should.
My next step is to send the injectors off for a cleaning/flow test.
Let me know if you isolate the problem before I do, we may have the same issue.

in an 0bd1 system the 43 is for "fuel delivery" with would have a few major components that could go bad, Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Injectors. if youve over looked changing your fuel filter, i suggest you start there for like $30 from the dealer
