Default car wont start

i just compleated my b18b swap and converted my car from an auto to a 5spd. now im waiting for the mount for the tranny. but anyhow i tried to start the car last night and it seems as though my starter isnt getting a start signal.

ive done an auto to 5spd swap before and had no major problems, and the "plastic slider" peice is still in park so the car SHOULD start.

this is the artical i followed with both cars but the other car i did the swap in remained a d15 and started right up afterward. why wont mine start?

that plastic "slider piece that tells the ecu that the car is in park, can't you just take the wire running from it and ground it or something like that so the car always thinks in park?

im sure their is some way but im not good at with wiring, only mechanics so i just superglued it to stay in park LOL

anyway i figured it out. it was the damn valve cover ground wire. i knew it was something stupid, ordinarly i would have just left it on but i had reassemble a new head for this project

yeah I had the same problem when I did my swap. It only took about 2 minutes to figure it out.
