Ok guys here's my problem. 2 days ago I noticed that my car would shake when I would accelarate. This shaking is more than the normal shaking I experiece with the B16 in my Rex. It's more violent and feels like it goes side to side. Now here's the tricky part. It doesn't happen all the time and also once I take my foot off the gas it stops??? Does anyone know what it could be? I just got the swap done about 3 weeks ago also.
Any clues would really be helpful.

what kind of mounts you using ??? maybe you ripped a CV boot?

 

look at the mounts that come off the a/c bracket and lower tanny mounts. They are notiously bad. Also, make sure your half shaft mount is tight to the block

 

I'm using the new Hasport mounts. If the CV boots tears would it have that effect of shaking while accelerating but not decelerating??

 

when mine ripped it started with accelerating then later on it became both

Humm, ok. That could be possible. Also the guy at the shop said that maybe the mounts came lose from the normal shaking you get with the B16 in there.
