A few serious Questions for all you guys out there who have had to go through the BAR process here in Cali.

1. Did they plug into your OBDII port to check your ECU and check for codes?
2. Did your ECU have to match the year of your car you took in for passing?
3. What was your visual inspeciton like?
4. Have any of you passed with a JDM ECU? particularly in an accord with an H22.

1. my car was obdI so no they didnt, but then did jump my harness to check for cel's and also to check timing...

2. yes it did match and they did check the ecu

3. visual inspection was just like the inspection at a test only center...check all the vacume lines just like that diagram under you hood, check for cat, o2, and all the necessary smog equipment

4. no i dont think you can pass with a jdm ecu..unless they dont check.
