i picked up a cable tranny from my boy with 4.4 final and a kazz lsd and i'm going to use it in my eg and i was wondering if i need to use a diffrent kind of axles, like hydo tranny axles or cable axles. it's going into a '93 dx no asb or anything like that. i know i need motor mounts for the cable tranny.

yes can use hydro axles with a cable tranny

yeah, you can, but you need the hydro intermediate shaft as well.
