Default burnt ground strap

ok stupid question here. i got a junk swapped b16a swapped 1994 civic coupe. i just had the trans swapped from a Y80 to a Y21. i also put a new clutch and flywheel in at the same time. i been babying it a week now and i got tired of it and got on it about 2,500 rpm in 1st then i hit vtec and a second after i lost all power to my car!!! well turns out it burnt the bolt head off my ground strap from the trans to the body. it burnt the bolt that holds it to the body. now i know nothing about wiring or nething. does anyone have ANY idea what might cause this or how to fix it. i replaced the battery and checked all the ground they all look alright. i got it running again and drove it about 2 miles home turned it off. now the 2nd time i drove it it was fine for another 2 miles then i wanted to know if it would do it again. and it did same as last time in vtec. i dont know what is going on if ANYONE has ANY idea please help me

that's all anyone would have told you- to triple check the grounds (wires themselves, terminals, contact points on the chassis and block, etc) and all major power wires such as alt, starter, etc...

anyway, you posted at 12:10 in the morning, then at 8 o'clock the same morning you are bugging because noone helped you yet...

you need to accrue some patience man, esp in this sub-forum- it's not the hottest sub forum for traffic.
