Default building ls/vtec

im thinkin of goin to the machine shop and havin them work on my ls block..

and when i get it back im probably gonna give it a try at putting it together

will a helms manual help me out alot with wat to do?.. if so where can i purchase one..

also wat tools do u recommend.. as far as taking out the engine.. taking off the head and replacing gaskets..

id like to find out wat is wrong with my gsr block.. havent gotten it checked out.. see if its repairable as far as no major damage and getting sum $$ off it or rebuild it then selling it

all this stuff was suppose to be taken care of by hookups.. but workin on favors as far as my experience.. leads to long waiting and i cant wait that long (july or maybe longer) so ive givin thought to doing this wit my dad... but he seems kinda reluctant hehe

well any info would be nice.. thx n advance
