Bogging going into vtec
I just recently had my head milled, new valves, springs, retainers, and cams installed in my b16a. I got everything running fine and when i went to go and test drive it, it boggs down when it hits vtec. I have a light hooked up to tell me when it is in vtec, so when the light came on the car bogged down bad. I have no CEL or anything like that. Does anyone have any idea why it would be doing this?

when you mill the head you are actually retarding the cam timing.. get a set of adjustable cam gears and take it to get tuned

Re: Bogging going into vtec (junciviceg)
How bad does it bog... does it just loose power for a few thousand rmp then pick right back up again? or does it loose all of its power and drop in rpm?
If it just bogs for a few thousand rpm then picks up again your vtec might be engaging too soon for the cams you just put in. Either way you would want to get it tuned, that should fix everything if you have no CEL's.
