block problem
i think im having trouble with my block...when i drive my car it will start knocking from the block...(well sounds like its coming from there)..
but when im actually in the car i can push on the clutch and it stops...??? wtf...one of my friends said it might be my connecting rod bearing..?? true?
private message me to find out what kind of motor im running cuz there are way too many theives out where i live and i aint trying to have anyone jacking my ***...your help would be gladly appreciated

Re: block problem (emendgroove1)
Are you sure it's not the throwout bearing in the tranny? Some are notorious for "chattering" which will usually stop when you press in the clutch pedal. If it were an internal engine knock, it would usually increase with engine RPM and wouldn't stop just because you press in the clutch. This is just a thought as it could be a number of things, but that's typical.
