block info
I got a b16a 2nd gen with a bad block. And a b16a 1st gen block in the garage. Can i take the guts out of the 2nd gen and put them in the first gen block? Without any problems?

Re: block info (JDAMC)
I honestly don't see why not
both blocks are very much the same. Only thing I could ever think that would change is the valve train for different cams but don't think that's the case.
go for it cheif

Re: (RotiEatter)
one of the cylinders has a ridge. You can see where the rings where. Who knows how long the motor sat? I've only had the swap for about 6 months
