Default block guards???

what do you guys think about them(pros/cons). Any input here is great. It will be into a b20(I know that a specilal block guard is needed) that will see turbo in the future and is on a stand now would it be worth it to do it now or wait till i go turbo, will i need to replace the head studs if I remove head to do this , well probly would any way and go with a better head gasket.
