What is involved in swapping the block girdle from my GSR block to an LS block. This is kind of urgent.

 

Can't speak personally because I have never done it, but Hx-Guy has and he said he had to take off ~ 14mm from the girdle over the #3 main cap. Makes sense to me because I know that the one on my block is taller then the rest although I have never measured it.

 

Why bother, get the Z10 girdle.

Purchasing a Z10 girdle is not in my price range right now. The bank fund will definately not permit it. I still need some directions to swap this over.
