Um...that covers three generations! You're gonna hafta be a little more specific than that if you want answers. What year/model? Budget? What do you want it to do? Street only, street/strip, or race only? Color? Matching keychain required? Cloth seats or vinyl? 8 track, cassette, or CD player? Be specific!!!

If you don't want to do any wiring, buy another car then. Chances are the car will be DPFI, or even worse a carbbed model. Both will require some wiring, the carbbed model would require a complete FI conversion.

well if its a must then i guess, i must do it. what motor do you think would work good? and wouldnt need a whole lot of fabricating or whatever, something where i take the stock motor and crap out and put in the motor i need plus whatever other parts, and do a lil wireing or whatever!

Basically a swap in that 83 will require converting to FI which includes swapping in another gas tank, fuel pump, fuel lines, a lot of wiring and so on. There won't be any motors that bolt in (other than stock), so it will require custom mounts for even the simplest swap like say a ZC or nonVTEC SOHC. Unless you really want to get serious with this car, I would say that you should definitely pick another car for a project, at least an 86+ fuel injected model.
