Default best hybrid choice?

so what hybrid combo would be the best for:

-everyday practical
-price (swap/labor/engine)
-time (swap/order)
-uniqueness
-performance
-LEGAL??? in cali?

choices are either a EK hatch w/ some motor (which motor is best) or nissan 240sx converted to silvia (will this even be legal)??

OR WAT OTHER CHOICES? thanks

HAHAHAHA
there is no such thing as a unique swap in the honda world anymore, unless you are willing to drop 10,000+ on a swap

I disagree with this slighty, you can be unique in your swap if you are patient, because of rarity and the lack of love for some engine/car combos. Cases in point. 1G CRX's or 1G Teg's. B17A 's JDM D15B 3 stage VTEC.
But it takes patience and luck to stumble on inexpensive clean examples of these do to their relative scarcity. And the knowledge to know what to look for.

Toyota Camry or Lexux V6 into a second gen MR2 That would probably blow your budget though.

Seriously, You cant go wrong in terms of ease and dependability with an EG or EK/B18C1 swap. Fun, (relatively) inexpensive, and easy to do.

Unique?... Certainly not. Everyone and their crazy aunt has one.
