what about a stroked b20 with ctr head ? 2.4liter with ported head would be pretty nasty

i know b20 with ported non ctr head and ITB's makes 246 whp, seen it in a DA drove it too....madd ***** and really snappy response

I have a b16 head with a bad valve (which im fixing). I was thinking of using it a frankenstein swap. My question is whats a better bottom end to use... B18B or B20? Pros and Cons of each?

Sorry if Im jacking the thread

b18 and b20 blocks are the same besides the bore. thats the only dif. you use the same rods for either engine.

And since they are bored a little bit more there is a little less sleeve strenght.

I dislike B20's alot, because people are CRAZY about them when a B18 is way more stable, easier to find, and cheaper.

ported (pause) NON ctr head, meaning the kid had a non ctr head ported by a private company, the ctr heads are ported by honda, thus in the end meaning, i dont know if ctr head would have created more power, but this is what he got when a private company did it. hope that clears it up
