Default Bad Swap Pics

I got a swap from a guy locally and I think he scammed me. The engine idles rough... fluctuates like 100 rpms... The idle is rough and shakes the motor mounts alot.
When I drive, It makes a sound that gets increasingly louder. I took out the spark plugs(barely used 30 miles) and this is what I see.

What is wrong???

a local shop did the swap... they are supposed to be reliable. The guy who sold me the swap was one of their workers. I went back to the shop to ask them to test my car to see wats wrong but they said they would charge me and I had to make an apointment

It's not the swap... its the motor. Something is wrong with it.

get new spark plugs and that should do. if not then try changin your wires , cap rotar.
i had this problem and when i changed the sparks everyhitng worked. i would recomend changine your oil aswell since fuuel got into the bloack since the fuel being pumped was not burned.

I think its more serious than that... the spark plugs only have 30 miles on them!!! they were brand new a while ago

do a comp test if that is good then do a cap, plugs wires and rotor.

if the motor fails the comp test then he f-ed you.

another reason it might be bad, if it was installed not properly. if you over tighten it, you just killed your spark plug

I do not think that over tightening will cause it to go bad like that, so quick. But like others have said, do a compression test asap and you will know if you got ripped off.

not cool.

I was going to say that most people get a little anxious after a 'swap'. there are usually a few bugs to work out - a blown motor shouldnt be one of them.

why would u blame the shop(unless they just put the motor in)? they guy USE to work there...i would say go back to the guy. Did u get a bill of sale? If he wrote as-is ur screwed. With those compression number the car should have ran like crap. I hope u can get some kind of resolution. good luck

On his post, he said it has good compression though. Its on highaltitudeimports.

His shop isnt the one who sold the motor so I cant blame them.... The seller is not answering the phone.
