ive got my o2 sim from o2simulator last week and this is how i wired it

It is attached after the plug right under where my test pipe is, was fairly easy to wire... so i thought, white went to white, which was the remote and i left the cut end on the plug side detatched, like the diagram had shown, I located 12v and spliced it into the red. The Green was then attached to the black for a ground...and last was the heater wire which was left alone?? but still the LED doesnt blink?? possible it is a bad o2 sim????
