if they are the same how come the 90-93 intake manifold for the integra doesn't fit, you have to pdo some porting or somthing..... that's what i read from someone from honda-tech.

so which is it? OR the B20 head only identical whe compared to the 94+ LS heads?

 

Ummm, No. I have a B20 and am currently using a 2G Teg Intake manifold. The B20 and the Ls both have 81mm combustion chambers. I believe StorminMatt from the CRX resource has done testing and found the heads to not be the same part number. But all measurements are identical, that he knows of.

 

i thought the B20 combustion chamber was 85cc???

 

by 81 he meant, 81 mm diameter combustion chambers

I believe the combustion chambers are 45cc in volume.

appearently a machinist said that the coolent jackets on the 2.0 head( p75) were larger than that of the pr4/ p75( b18b)

 

Coolant jackets in the head, larger? hrmm....more wackiness... I would think this would be possible with the B20 block, as the siamesed cylinders would allow more room, but in the head? Wierd stuff....

 

I have a brand new crv intake manifold gasket, and it sits perfect on my 91 ls intake manifold. b20 arriving tuesday.

 

i think that there are different cams in b20b than b20z, one of them has the same as LS, the other has longer duration ones.

 

the b has lame cams, the z has the same as the LS. I think that's right.

 

They are pretty much the same I have a 97 LS block w/a 98 B20z head w/an LS intake manifold from a 91 LS.
