Default b20b p8r

Does anybody know where to get a used JDM B20B with the P8R head? I haven't seen any of the usual importers who offer them specifically apart from regular JDM B20Bs. Most of them didn't even know what I was talking about. Thanks.

If they have JDM b20b's they have p8r's, don't call and ask for it specifically they'll try to up the price. Just go in and ask to see there b20b's. look at the front of the heads to the right side, for p8r, and then you got one of these blocks. If the importer has 100's of b20b's or maybe just organized by year it could help too. Ask to see his 97-97 b20b's.

I suppose call them and ask them to look at the headstamps of their b20b's, they should tell you things like p75 or p75-2, p75-(x) where x is any number, and then p8r. I believe there to be another head stamp possibility pr-4 but that is the same thing as the p75 just from an earlier year. Also make sure it does not have a knock sensor if you want the p8r.

Or look in the honda marketplace on this forum, maybe someone has a p8r head lying around and you could just put that on the b20 you end up getting if you cant find one with a p8r head.
