ive recently installed a b20 vtec into my 95 gsr.....i used a b16 head instead instead of my gsr....the problem is the motor isnt idling right...it sounds like its choking...and when i try to give it some gas it doesnt want to rev up...i purchased the the longblock only so i had to swap over parts from the gsr ..wiring harness...distributer...exhaust manifold...iac...alternator..tranny etc...on the b16 intake manifold it has pgm f1 label....i think thats the 91 and earlier model b16??..do you know if any of these parts are interchangable?? or could the problem be in the vacuum lines..i have already checked teh timing..do you any websites about b20/vtecs that would help me out...any kind of info would be great.... oh yea and everything is stock on the motor....thanx

sounds like a miss fire. try pulling out the plug wires while the car is running to find out what cylinder if any. if not that, check your iac, it might be all dirty if its a first gen manifold.
