Hey everyone im brand new to the forum and i need some help i would like to know what would be the best tranny for a b20 swap in my 90 crx i plan i doing a crvtec in the futer but for now just the b20 any help would be appreciated.

 

b16a tranny . or ls tranny if you want a freeway car.. with a 5th gear

 

whatever u do dont get a y1 tranny. i hate mine for freeway use. at 50mph im at 5k its rediculous (sorry i cant spell for ****) but if its for race or whatever go to the y1 fast acceleration. im keeping mine for my ls/vtec project cuz its nto a street car

50mph at 5k? I seriously doubt that unless you car has custom gears or a modded final drive, Ive driven an s1, y1 ys1, a1, j1 the y1 has a 4.2 final drive and a longer 5th dont spread mis info kid click here if you want facts http://www.ff-squad.net, maybe you should shift into 5th instead of keeping it in 3rd
