B20 into EJ....
Could I squeeze a b20 motor into my 97 ex for under $3000? Including motor, mounts, linkage, wiring, exhaust, etc? Or would a an LS be cheaper? Im on a limited budget of around $3000 (depending on what I sell my EF for) so basically Im looking for the cheapest swap available that will be smog legal in cali.
Edit: If not Im just going to build the d-series

B20 or B20vtec? If it's B20vtec, $3000 is barely enough. And if you can do it under $3000, that's a really halfassed job. If all you want is a B20 in you car, go with the B20 long block and B16 tranny, that should come together under $2000.

Yeah...just straight b20. The b20/vtec buildup that I want to do in the future will cost well over $5k. I can get away with using stock Si mounts, right? I dont need a Hasport kit or anything...
I'll do a little searching
