b18c1/94 del sol problems
alrighty guys, need a bit of help here. Not too familiar with hondas and the swaps. I didn't perform this swap, and I'm only working on it for a friend as I've done quite a few swaps, full builds and turbo setups on alot of 4 cyl chryslers.
Car i'm working with is a 94 del sol. It has a b18c1 engine, with a p00 computer (the computer has been chipped by TSR in glen burnie, md for a b18c1) . I have jumped the connector to get codes and all it shows me is map sensor, code 3(which I have replaced, and checked the wiring to check for resistance)
At idle the car has a very slight flutter, nothing too hateful but quite noticeable, almost like worn plugs but all are new, as is cap and rotor. I'm not positive what car the distributor is from, but I would guess it's a gsr distributor as well too.
Partial throttle with no load the car will rev out to redline, with a bit of misfire in the 800-1500 range and then totally clear and smooth.
Full throttle the car just dies. It's almost as if it's a mixture of flooding or that it's 180 degrees out. Backfires through the intake, strong fuel smell from exhaust at same time. I almost want to take it to a vet as it sounds like a dog getting hit by a truck as it stalls out.
Just need a bit of help on this one. I like challenges, but with a swap it's harder to hit up alldata and my other resources and get straight answers on it, so if anybody has some info on what to check and what to try next, it's greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the response. The map and tps plugs I believe are correct. The harness that they have in the engine bay doesn't have alotta slack to where the connectors could run to each other, and they're different sizes anyways.
During a b18 swap, do they have to repin anything for those or is it still the same? I've just not been able to find a full writeup of what's involved with swapping in the b18 into the del sol.
