Default b18b1 swapper

heres the thing: im 16, gettin first car. its a 93 civic hatch, nonvtec. i was goin to get this hatch for 1500, only because its a cx. bottom of the line. power nothing. my dad agreed that after i pay it off i can get a loan and then get any ( not any, its gotta be reasonable) car i want. i was thinkin of a simple swap to do but will give me enough power so that i wont be just another civic, maybe a b18b1, non vtec, only so its easier to wire up. or my other option is to buy the hatch, do nothing to it and buy a 6g hatch and do a type r swap. i like the second option better, but i dont wanna drive a slow *** hatch. please, lets here some opinions, i dont kno what i should do.

Default Re: b18b1 swapper (nohondayet)

Hey I'm just down the road in Hamilton I live on the west side of town. I have a 91 acura integra with a 1.8L b18 ls non-vtec. The motor is clean/runs good but the car was totalled, still able to run/drive(car was hit on drivers side)although it's not road worthy,it is still mobile. If you are interested in buying the motor or the whole car let me know and I will make you a good deal.

You will still need a tranny cause it has an automatic and you won't want to use that in a civic.

Just so you know I was planning on putting the swap in my car but I found a deal on the net that had all the components for my swap ie..motor,trans,axles,ecu,shift linkage, motor mounts and a few other things.

I have a 93 cx hb with a 96 b18 ls with a gsr tranny,it may not be the fastest car on the road but compared to the 1.5L that was in it the car has some serious torque and it will FLY!

Contact me and I'll take you for a spin and let you see just how much fun these cars can be when you go hybrid!
