Default b18b swap in a 96 auto hatch problem

Before you rip on me- yes I have now read a sh*t ton of threads about this. I have a different situation though.

Because of my poor life decisions i chose to listen to a guy who had no idea wtf he was talking about. It is my fault 100% that I am now in this sh*tty situation.

So I'm hoping to have one of you have answers to some of my questions.

First off, car is a 96 DX Auto Hatch that I put a b18b1 5 speed in. Pretty common swap right. Hard to screw up. But again due to my poor life decisions I ignored the forums in hopes to get this swap done in a weekend. It's been 6 months. And i still have questions. The project started by me buying a 2000 ej6 hatchback with the swap complete - and throwing it into my 96 (2000 was totaled in the rear), not knowing that OBD2B and OBD2A would be such a difference. Still hate myself don't beat me up for it. Inside the 2000 (what I'm referring the donor car as) was a chipped p75 ecu (94 integra ls ecu), obd2b interior/dash harness (I don't know what the proper name is for the harness. It runs from the interior fuse box to the one in the engine bay, under the dash, and into the cowl) , and was running the b series with an obd2b harness with an obd2b to obd1 jumper. I now know that information. I didn't know that before I swapped the engine.

Now when it was time to fire this thing up the fuel pump wouldn't turn on. Yes. I checked my f**king (apologize for sharp language I am still fustrated even thinking about my mistake) grounds, relays, etc. Well if I didn't make a big enough mistake already I made another one. I took this guys info and went ahead and swapped the interior/dash harness. So in my 96 is an OBD2b main harness, obd2b to obd1 jumper harness, and dash harness. By doing this I was able to make the fuel pump turn on when I turned the key. Still couldn't get this thing to fire up because the harness is so hacked up, so I put in a 98 dx harness in there (ik it is an obd2a harness now I didn't know that before).

So my question is-
What system is my 96 running now? (forget the obd2a engine harness assume I have an obd2b harness still in there). Did I accidentally convert my hatch to an obd2b?

And at this point, since the dashboard is still off, what would be your MOST efficient approach to get this thing running?
Should I continue this obd2b conversion or should i just invest in getting a whole obd2a system?
In other words, should I just drop this whole thing and spend another few hundred dollars turning the car system back to obd2a (with the right dash/interior, engine, and jumper harness of course) over this obd2b conversion?

I do apologize for my poor common sense and my lack of knowledge. Can't believe myself right now. Don't rip on me for it I already had enough of this sh*t lol.

So I was looking into getting an intake manifold w a throttle body but after looking around & reading forums I seen that it’ll damage the motor instead of making me power , so I need your opinion , should I stick to stock Intake manifold ? I wanna boost my b18b1

This has absolutely NOTHING to do with the OP's question !!! Why are you thread jacking on your very first post ??? Please create your own post and edit this one (remove all words and leave a "."). Lastly, please Google "Forum Posting Etiquette". You are off to a rocky start here.

Yes, converting the car back to OBD-2A is the best choice. It is ALWAYS best to start with the chassis and engine harness of the car you have... and modify it to fit your new engine/transmission combination.
