b-series vtec oil pump and pistons will fit on the b18a/b's--the rods are a different a different length,so they won't work.i'd say if your gonna get new pistons, get a set of forged je's or endyn's,which will hold up to n20 a lot better.i would use a 95+ ls manifold..i noticed the runners are shorter and of a bigger diameter on the b18b's and a 92 throttle body will fit a 95+intake manifold. no,none of the b series vtec valvetrain will fit on a b18a/b.a good port and polish should give you a good top end,but you need a cam that will actually make power at higher revs.

The valvetrain will not fit, no, but you can bolt on the head and make an LS/VTEC.

Are you getting the B18B intake manifold with it? If so, use that, it flows better than the B18A one.

Yeah imma be gettin all the parts from the guys old LS

Intake Manifold, alternator, throttle body everything.....

While everything is off, can anyone suggest anything to do with the head and intake manifold, throttle body? While its off, I am going to be sprayin 100 shots so I need a strong engine....

I am going to be gettin Stainless Steel Valves, cause I heard those would help the engine, the stock ones just break up the valve train.....

Someone said the stock B18A1 rods for the bottom block are strong enough to handle up to 350 HP....if this is true, Then should i still get the GS-R rods, ? Whats the difference rods would make for my new motor? Just curious....I know the GS-R Oil pump will make the OIL PRESS higher, which will in turn help out more......lemme know all.....thanks
