B16B what does it take
The B16B is a destroked ITR. Meaning less displacement.
If you have the time and know how, you can swap in an ITR crank, rods and pictons and you have an ITR swap.
For simplicity......
Get the B18c.

That's debateable tho.
I mean if he buys the B16B he'll have all the type-R peformance goodyness (complete R head, valve train, cams, LSD transmission, etc) only downside (for some) is that it's 1600cc.
Where-as if he went GSR, he'd have to start from point zero and work his way up w/performance engine parts. The only real perk of a B18C/GSR/SiR engine is the 1800cc displacement.
Like you said, he could stroke UP the B16B
Something to think about before he buys.
I'd personally go with the B16B seeing how it has way more performance goodys over a bland dual butterfley B18Crap.
A B18C-R on the other hand, puts this talk to rest.

its a direct swap and should come with everything needed to complete the swap.

I hope you do mean the JDM ITR B18C, because I'd get a Civic Type R motor with GSR/Type R crank whaodie.
