Default B16b questions...

what is required to put a b16b into a car already running a obd0 b16a? how much wiring?

I believe that the B16B is OBD 2 as it was made starting in 96+ so you would need to do the OBD 2 wiring, o2 sensors and what not. I might be wrong though.....

i think there isnt such thing as obd in japan since b16b is a japan only motor. but i might be wrong also...

just switch your b16a distributor, exhaust manifold/header (if running two 02, or reuse the the b16b), use your injectors, alternator, add your b16a coolant sensor in the back of the block....and reuse your old PR3 or PW0, and get it chipped to mugen specs and you be fine...

no need to do obd0 to obdii....as far as JDM motors 96+ are OBDII but only plug wise, the sensors and programming is still like obdI

great, already chipped the ecu. now i just need to find a reliable b16a distributor that lasts more than 2000 miles.
