Default B16b help/advice.

So 4 years ago I came across a great deal on a super clean B16b so I picked it up. Was going to toss it in another project, but never did. The motor has been sitting for 4 years now. Recently I picked up another EK hatch and am ready to use this motor.

So here are my goals for the car. Im just looking for a fun AutoX/cruiser. I dont need aton of power. Honestly I know I would be completey happy with a almost stock b16b.

So should I have the motor rebuilt? and if so how much am I looking at spending to have it rebuilt?

Any advice or help would be great.

Oh ya, and B16b hate squad, try to hold your negativity back.

was the motor sitting in your garage intact? like not taken apart? honestly ill just drop her in and just turn key it lol and see if it starts.

If you are planning a rebuild then go ahead and do that, sell me your pistons if you do

Why would you need to rebuild it?

Fluids were taken drained, so anything left in it should be minimal.

im a b16b owner myself, if your staying na, rock it stock for awhile, if you want more, grab a good header with 2.5" out, 2.5" exhaust, velocity stack intake like bpi of prototype racing, some cams springs and retainers and you should be really happy. if boost is an option, do it. im boosting mine perosnally. also if you dont have ac/ps grab an n1 pully.
