Default b16b in a eg

im going to swap a b16b into my 95 cx civic, questions i have are for people who have done this. did you change the injectors and distributor to obd 1 and change the ecu . what else did you have to do? any suggestions? i dont want to hear that i should get a different motor like a b18c,r i just want to know about these questions thanks. i did a search and didnt see this. nobody huh?

from what ive seen in doin obd2 motors in obd1 cars....all you use from the motor is the manifolds, block and head...change the sensors, distributor, and injectors.....type r is the same as any other.....My friend had a B16b in his EK...it ran like a champ....good luck

Get the B18CR, if your looking for an R motor.....the B16B is still tq less and cost to much for what you get, not much more power than a regular B16. Go 1.8L.

you didnt read my post did you, not much more power than a b16 huh. b16a 160-168 , b16b - 185 lsd tranny with great gearing, high revs.

Yes I did, go ahead waste your money. I know the hp ratings, but Honda needs Torque. You should get the 1.8L
