B16A2 into a 96 Integra?!..HELP!
Tried to do a search but I don't think this swap is that popular.
It's a 99 b16a2 motor going into a 96 Integra LS. I'm trying to help out a friend of mine and we're stuck. What engine wiring harness and ecu can he use? What are his options for staying OBD2 or going OBD1?

i think he can use the ls harness but he needs to run extra lines to the vtec and pressure switch and knock sensor. If he wants to shell out some money he can buy a gsr harness that is obd II and everything should be bolt on. anyone can correct me if im wrong.

Why put a 1.6L motor in a car that has a 1.8L motor. 
Just swap the B16a head on your 1.8L bottom and call it a day.

Why put a 1.6L motor in a car that has a 1.8L motor.
Just swap the B16a head on your 1.8L bottom and call it a day.

could he use the wiring harness of the b18b then use a obd2-obd1 harness and plug into a chipped p28? and if he was to use the ls wiring harness what extra wires would he have to run?

He can run an ecu jumper and use the p28 if he wishes. He will need to add these wires. I was nice enough to outline everything you need to add...

it's cool yo, he get's it all the time now...he didn't know what he was getting himself into....he didn't know too much at the time(he was a newbie at honda stuff) and all he wanted was VTEC! so he bought a b16a2 from a guy that wrecked his Si and sold me his b18b...i did most of the swap before I moved(military) and I still keep in contact with him to resolve the situation...he recently just ordered the skunk2 racing ecu and harness(any comments on these products?) and i'm sending him the harness off of the b18b since i can use the harness of my dseries motor.....
