Default B16A2 -> B18A1

I was looking into it and i was thinking about after market pistons and rods for my b18. i stumbled across an article about how the b16a2 has a 1.74:1 rod ratio compairied to the b18A1's 1.54:1 they have the same bore but the stroke is shorter (77 for the b16 and 89 for the b18). The b16 block is 8mm shorter then the b18. The b16 has a rod length of 134, and the b18 has a rod length of 137. Also stock the b16 has a c.r of 10.2:1 while the b18a1 has 9.2:1. I was wondering if putting aftermarket b16 rods and pistons would be better then going with the b18 aftermarket rods and pistons for the better rod ratio. Also whot would happen if i did.
