Car: 98 Integra LS
Swap: b16a1
Collected parts: obd2-obd1 harness, p28 ecu
Before everyone asks why i would do this. I blew my ls motor when i had my turbo kit and i do not have the funds to rebuild right now. So i decided with the b16 so eventually i could use the head and go lsvtec. Not looking for big power just to be able to drive my car again.
Do i have all the parts to make this work. I will be using my ls tranny
but will the axels fit? I will also be using a obd2 distributer. Does anyone have a links on how to wire vtec? I searched but found a lot of posts on older hatchbacks.
thanks,
jake

You'll need to switch the driver's side mount bracket and mount on the B16A with the ones from your B18B1. This will allow you to drop the motor in and bolt it up properly.
Reuse your OBD2 injectors and it sounds like you'll have the distributor covered so no problem there. Here's the ECU pinouts for an OBD1 P30 ECU which are the same as an OBD1 P28.

OK, on the TB, you have two vacuum nipples, one big and one small. The small one goes to MAP sensor and the big one goes to charcoal canister (should be a black hose with red strips on it). Give the Fuel pressure reg. straight vacuum. Take the small vacuum coming from the charcoal canister put it on the purge valve and the other side of the purge hook to vacuum source.
