B16a head and B18c block....
What kind of compression numbers will this set up yield?
- 1st gen B16a head
- B18c block
- B18c conrods
- CTR pistons

Only mod is to have them pressed on. Only LS's require shaving of the rod. Run 92 octane, and get it tuned. You can also sand down the sharp edges to lower compression and reduce detonation.

Yeah, I heard it prevents the edges from heating up and inhibits carbon buildup
