b16a block with b18b ls head???

Default b16a block with b18b ls head???

has anyone ever heard of a car running with a b16 bottom end with an ls head? can it even work? and if so with which timing belt?

usually use the timing belt that matches the water pump or oil pump, if you changed one. so if you got a stock b16 block, use the b16 timing belt. IMO, sell the b16 block and just get an ls block and use the ls head with that, youll get more hp and alot more torque.

thanks for the info... im running on 3 cylinders on my b16, there is fuel, and spark in the 3rd cylinder but i guess there no compression. must have messed up a valve or something. i need my car to get around and i have an ls head lying around. just wanted to know it would work. do you know if there is anything else i have to do in order to have that head on the b16 block? do i need an ls head gasket?

3 cylinders is fun. i daily my car with a mis on 1 cyl. lol. use b16 shortblock and belt. dont change the waterpump or oil pump.
