I keep hereing that "leaglly" the only engine that can be swapped is one that was offered in cars in the us. So of course there is a usdm b16(del sol) but I can't fine anywhere that sells it. Everyone sells jdm. So does anyone now where to get a usdm b16

 

**** the system. Get a jdmb16a i know for a fact a first gen jdm b16a passes emmisions. So dont be scared. Just do it. And if your really want to find a usdm go to hybrid honda links then find wrecking yards. They are the best place to check.

yeah no kidding. HEre in cali we get the ocacasional cop that knows his stuff and if he finds out that its jdm he will send me to a state reff and bye bye car(or just engine) so its a nice thought but completly unpractical.

there's an article in there called Scared Straight. "learn how to avoid a Rendez-vous with the Law"
it has some do's and dont's in there for engine swaps and other modifications on your car.. its what the CHP look for.
