Default B16 swap

I swapped a b16a into 90 civic dx HB. It runs great but, the feels like it is really low geared. At 70mph or above it feels like it is wound up pretty high. I dont have a tach in the car right now so I dont know exactly what Rpm it is running at. Is this common with this swap? I cannot find the code stamped on the transmission, so I dont know which tranny it is. Any comments?
