Default B-series interchangable part question?

Question for ya,

-Will a obd0 IAC from a b18a intake manifold fit an obd2 b18b manifold?

-Will an obd0 fuel rail fit the 0bd2 new manifold?

What is the difference between the obd0 ls manifold and obd2 ls manifold beside the better flow?

Ok, I think so, I used a OBD1 LS IAC on a 1st gen B16, only one bolt lined up, but it sealed and worked.

Yes, I fit a OBD1 fuel rail on a 1st gen B16. So it should fit.

OBD1 ports are bigger and different locations for sensors and vacuum lines

I hope I answered your questions.

BTW what you doing? B20?

Thanks kenny,

Yea, i m gathering some parts for b20. It seems like college is taking to much of my fund to have enough money to bulid an ls/vtec RIGHT and reliable.

My obdo Ls intake manifold is orginal from an automatic and some holes on it had to be plug inorder to work a manual. For example, the EGR, the two in the back of the manifold and the starting air valve ( i think that is what it is called). Anyways, after revving past 5k i feel like that car motor is not getting enough air b/c of the plug holes. Sometime it idle weird after a long time running the car. So..this time around, i will try the Ls obd2 manifold that this one guy have for sale to see what happen. Beside it is a better design than the obdo manifold.

All in all, thanks for replying to my question.

Anyone has something to say other wise about difference in the manifolds?

Oh, thats right, your LS is an auto. It will be easier when you use the OBD2 LS manifold. Or get a B20z and you will already have the low profile manifold.

Good luck with the swap and if you have questions, just ask.

Not sure on that one. I have both so I can check tomorrow at my garage.

Main difference is the PCV setup and the OBD0 has smaller ports.
