Default Axles for B18A

OK first of i did not find this in search.

I am swapping a B18A in to 90 Civic Si.My problem is that the trany i was supposed to use with the Swap(JDM Si-R) may not be here when i want it.I have a 91 LS trans to use till the Sir trans come in. I order Axles(for the JSM Si-R) for HASPORT and i know that the left axle will work but the right axle will be to short.

My question is what if any honda OEM axle or combintion of axle(different hub shaft) will work on this swap while the car is lower about 2.5 inches. I have a junkyard so just tell me chances are i will have or can get.

Quick replys will be greatly appreciated because then i will be able to race next weekend.

Thanks in advance.

Just use a 90-93 Integra intermediate shaft and 90-93 Integra axles and you should be fine. I have a 96 B18B1 in my 91 CRX DX with a 92 YS1 GSR cable tranny. I used the HASport billet EF mount kit and I'm using a 92 LS intermediate shaft and 92 LS axles. I swapped it about 2 years ago and it's a daily driver and I've never had any problems with the axles whatsoever.

Is your car lowerd and is the GSR trans the same shape as the LS trans?

Also what map sensor should i use 90-91LS,92-93 or SI?

OT what does your car run in the 1/4 mile just wondering how much power i will have?

The car is lowered roughly 1.5" with Tein springs and KYB struts. I don't think that 2.5" would put the axles in that much more of an angle but I guess you won't know until you try.
Basically all manual B series tranny's have the exact same shape (casing) so there should be no concerns there.

I would use whichever one you have to work with, doesn't really matter. I have a 96 B18B1 which has the MAP mounted on the throttle body and I used it. I removed the EVAP and old MAP from the firewall.

I built this car for my fiance and it's not raced. I have 2 other hybrids myself, one of which is my 92 VX and it is raced. The CRX is just a daily driver with A/C and mild all around for the comforts. I would only be guessing if I told you any #'s so I'll leave that to you to find out what your car is capable of.
