Default Axles

Hey

I'm putting a b18c1 into a 89 crx dx. I purchased some axles from http://www.raxles.com. I think they screwed my order up, because both of the axles are the same length.

Pic 2 is with my d series axles just for scale

Am i correct in my assumption that the wrong axles were sent to me?

B series motors use equal length axles and an intermediate shaft on the driver's side which bolts to the back of the motor. Chances are you have the correct axles but do you have an intermediate shaft and if so is it compatible with the driver's side axle?

If those were the correct b-series axles, wouldnt the drivers side axle have a female end for the intermediate shaft? I know mine does (I have two pairs in the trunk).

They will only have a female end on the driver's side axle if they are the 94-01 Integra or 99-00 Si. He's working with an 89 CRX which uses the 90-93 Integra style - the intermediate shaft has the female end in those years.

Yes as long as that's what the axles were designed for and by the looks of them I would say they were. Best thing to do to be 100% sure is to contact raxles since they made the axles.

looks fine to me longest 90-3 Teg intermideate shaft is used.

top axle is the passanger, bottom is the intermideate shaft side/drivers' side.
