i have a b16a head on a ls block,

what ARP headbolts do i purchase? do they make b16a head bolts?

 

don't hold me to this, but im almost positive you need the ones for the head that you have. The vtec heads are a little bit taller, thats why.

 

vtec headbolts are shorter than ls headbolts.

 

does that mean to use gsr arp bolts? didnt reall yanswer my question. which ones do i use, because arp doesnt make ones for the b16a., unless the gsr and the b16a are the same

 

b16a,b17a and b18c bolts are the same

What I would do is compare the length of the hole that the bolt goes through
in both cylinder heads. If there is more distance in the LS head then I would
use the ones made for a vtec. If they are the same then I would use LS.
What bolts are you using now? Or have you not finished assembling yet.

If you are using b16a headbolts now, then get the head studs for a b16a/b18c. They will work the same.
