Default Alternative for AEM CAI in a DC2

I am not about to spend 250-300 bucks for a CAI. Any alternative for this?

sometimes for swaps you have to get creative to come up with something that'll work. if you cant find a budget cai for your hybrid swap, then you might be forced to take something that comes close, and cut it to make it fit. thats what i did with my B16A in my EF. as far as i know, AEM is the only company who offers intakes for hybrid swaps, so if you dont have the least bit of cutting/trimming skills, you might be up the creek without a paddle.

i know a lot of people run the ITR intake in their eg-h22's. don't really see why it wouldn't be a problem for a dc2. 3" piping...just like the hybrid ones.
