Default 94 integra with a b20z2(obd2) problems

My car hasn’t ran right since the swap. With the oem p75 it ran good but the car would randomly get stuck at like 2k rpm while driving then start decelerating then backfire and go back to normal.(I have my foot on the gas the whole time and it does it at random rpm’s) it’s almost like the ecu was pulling timing, I got my other friends ecu that’s tuned (we don’t know what for) and the car runs like crap but it fixed the problem. I don’t know if it’s me needing a tune or a obd 2 ecu with a jumper harness. Any help

You don't use an obd2 ecu in an obd1 car. Find the problem.
