87 Si
I am going to get the 87 Si crx. I know it comes with a D15A3 stock and its fuel injected with a cable clutch... I have been reading on Honda-Tech and reppepper racing for a while now.. I want to do a GSR or an ITR swap for the rex.. Hasport makes the mounts i know its possible to do this but i want to know if i will be able to get the hydro. tranny with lsd in there and i want to know everything else needed for this swap.. Please send me your opinions
There is a kit available to convert it from calbe for use with a hydro tranny. I want to say it's from hasport or place racing, but I don't remember exactly. It's in an article that I read, but I know it's out there.

Yeah....LOTS OF TIME.
Honestly, a little bit much to get into detail here, but to sum it up:
You need Integra knuckles, which will probably come with brakes, and you will likely need bigger torsion bars for the extra weight.
Rewiring the 87 ECU from pre-OBD0 to OBD0 then getting a harness jumper to go from OBD0-1 is going to be the way to go. You will need an HF instrument cluster to get a speed sensor. You will need to run wires from the dizzy to the ecu, and flip-flop a few pin locations on your 87 harness.
The battery is going to be a tight fit...I sell a small one that will work better in there.
Exhaust work is needed.
I would say that redpepper is going to be the best place for info on this.......
