2011 LX Engine Swap
New to this so bear with me. I currently drive a 2013 Kia Optima LX and I'm tired of not being able to mod my car at all. I found a 2011 Civic LX with just over 100k miles for a reasonable price and I wanted to explore the world of engine swaps. I'm looking for a somewhat decent power boost without spending an exorbitant amount of money and, being that I'm new to this, I need something that is on the simpler side. Any suggestions?
Edit: I also found a 2007 EX so now I'm also looking to compare power gain between the two after an engine swap and normal upgrades (cold air intake, exhaust, tune, etc.) Both cars are sedans with 1.8L I4, not sure if there's a difference between hatch and sedan when it comes to modding.

You won't find much tuning support for the base model Civics. Go to a K series to get all the options. Civic Si, Accord, CR-V, Element, TSX, RSX, and more.
So many options from 160-205hp stock with decent torque.
