2000 LX to 94 EX keep VTEC
I have available to me a 2000 Civic 1.6 non VTEC engine with only 9,000 miles on it.
Right now i have a 94 EX with 113,000 miles on it. I want to keep the VTEC head, and i have been told it will bolt right on the engine.
The 2000 engine has is auto and my 94 is a stick
My questions are:
Should I do anything with the head before i put it on, like port and polish?
How hard is it to switch the transmissions?
