Default 2000 EX engine swap

Can a 2004 accords engine be put into a 2000 civic ex? or is it to big?

Actually...it could.

However, for the amount of money it would cost, and the low supply of used engines, and the relative low amount of HP it would be easier to just swap in a K20 from an RSX or to just do a B-series swap.

or go forced induction.

sorry i dont know much about all the specs, but what i like about the accords new engine is it has 240hp with 212 Torque. Does any other engine come close to those numbers stock? also is there a website anywhere that list all the engines, there codes, and there stats? sorry if its on here but i am new

The J30A V6 SOHC VTEC engine? It seems big in a Civic... :shrugs:

He's talking about the 160 HP K24 I-VTEC ones

no i was talking about the 240/212 engine thats why i was wondering if it would fit... so i am guessing its to big.
