Alright that is exactly my problem. I am getting spark at 2 and 3 but not 1 and 4. New cap, new rotor, new plugs, new wires. What exactly controls the spark on a DOHC VEETACKS motor? I mean is it something inside my distributor. Mechanical timing is perfect, ignition timing should be right on. Plug wires should be right but either way I would get a spark eventually from the plug. I pulled the plug from the #1 cylinder and watched it hoping to see something while it ran but nothing. No spark! WTF.

well i think if it was his coil no cylinders would fire. Its got to be your rotor or distro cap if you are recieving sparks in the other cyl !

if your getting spark in the other cylinders probably not your rotor either because its sending spark to the others. I say Distro cap tell them its bad you need a new one that where i would start. then take a ohm meter check the resistance on the coil see what it reads hell get a new one while your their if it still dosen't work take it back. then if that doesn't might be your ICM

my money is on the distibuter though
