Hey everyone. I got a question that I am hoping someone can help me with. I have access to a 1981 civic Sedan in really good shape. Except the engine is blown. I have heard that you can get an old engine at a salvage shop for around $200... But I wanted to know if there is any other engines that would work in that car.

The old engine was a carborated 1.5 liter. So I'm not sure what engines would work in this old of a car. BTW, I have a b20'd DA so I am not a Newbie and am capable, I just don't know much about non-b series engines.
